BRAND GUIDELINES

We develop brand guidelines: a document explaining how to use a visual identity. We bring the brand concept, logo, colours, typefaces and graphic elements into a clear guide. We show their application in materials and on agreed media so teams and contractors can follow shared rules. The final document is delivered as a PDF. We work remotely with clients in Russia and internationally.

WHEN YOUR BRAND NEEDS GUIDELINES

Visual assets alone do not explain how to use them. Guidelines document decisions such as logo versions, colour and type combinations, and layout principles. We choose the content around the approved identity, team needs and intended media.

  • Handover to teams and contractors

New designers and suppliers may receive different files and interpret the identity differently. A document brings core decisions, examples and constraints together. We discuss who will use the guide and which tasks it should explain before starting.

  • A brand used across channels

Websites, social content, presentations and print should support a shared visual identity. We document layout principles and agreed examples, providing a foundation for new materials without redefining the style each time.

  • Rules for new media

As the range of materials grows, teams need to understand how to apply the logo, graphics and typography in different formats. We identify priority media and document the relevant rules. The examples and finished layouts are agreed beforehand.

Guidelines describe an approved visual identity. If none exists, start with brand identity development. If the current presentation needs changes, discuss redesign first. These tasks can form connected stages with a separately agreed scope for each.

WHAT THE BRAND GUIDELINES INCLUDE

The current scope covers the concept, logo rules, colours and typefaces, graphics, layout principles, adaptation for physical media and a final PDF. We agree the level of detail and example list around the brief.

  • Concept and visual foundation

We summarise the agreed brand idea and visual character. This explains the logic behind the design and helps readers use the following sections. We work from supplied information and the approved identity; developing a new strategy is scoped separately.

  • Logo usage rules

We document required logo versions and principles for placement, spacing, scale and backgrounds, discussing appropriate applications and errors to avoid. The rules depend on the mark’s characteristics and the agreed media.

  • Colour palette and typefaces

We collect brand colours and typography, explaining their roles and combinations. We clarify which values and examples are needed for digital and printed materials, considering how type is used within the layout.

  • Graphic elements

We describe the agreed graphics, patterns and other parts of the system, showing how they work with the logo, colour and text. The document explains existing prepared graphics; creating new elements is agreed separately.

  • Layouts and applications

We show composition principles and identity use through selected examples, including agreed physical media. We explain placement and emphasis. The example list follows the brief rather than implying layouts for every possible format.

  • Document structure and final PDF

We organise sections into a coherent guide, review the content and agree its presentation. The final guidelines are prepared as a PDF. Page count, illustrations and any additional handover formats are discussed before starting.

BRAND ELEMENTS IN USE

Sayrau and LunaPro show logos, colour, typography and graphics applied across media. Similar decisions can be described and illustrated in an identity guide. These are portfolio examples; the structure and content of your PDF are agreed separately.

HOW WE DEVELOP THE GUIDELINES

We begin with the materials and needs of the document’s users. We then agree its content, explain the rules and illustrate their use. The final PDF follows review and approval of the sections.

  1. Materials and users

We collect the logo, colours, typefaces, graphics and application examples. We discuss who will use the document and which tasks it needs to support.

  2. Structure and scope

We agree sections, detail, media and illustrations, then establish scope, price and timing. Any identity development or updates are discussed before the document is assembled.

  3. Rules and examples

We document approved decisions, explain element usage and prepare application examples, checking that the explanations address real team needs.

  4. Design and approval

We bring the sections into a shared layout and review sequence and readability. We discuss comments and refine the content within the approved scope.

  5. Check and PDF handover

We check the section list and agreed details, then prepare the final PDF. The approved version is delivered for use by the team and contractors.

PRICING AND TIMING

₽5,000–7,000

Timeline — 3 business days

The current brand guidelines price is ₽5,000–7,000, with a listed timeline of 3 business days. We confirm identity asset readiness, the section list and application examples before starting.

The level of detail, volume of materials and agreed media determine the scope. Page count is established when discussing the structure. Additional sections, illustrations or identity updates are assessed before implementation.

Timing depends on source file readiness, approved identity elements and feedback. Logo creation, identity development and redesign are separate tasks. The deliverable is an agreed PDF; printing and additional handover formats are discussed separately.

Payment is split into 50% before work begins and 50% after project approval, before final materials are handed over. At your request, we can sign a contract defining scope, price and timing. Discussions and approvals take place remotely.

BRAND GUIDELINES QUESTIONS

How do guidelines differ from a visual identity?

A visual identity is the set of visual elements and design principles. Guidelines explain how to use them. This service documents approved decisions and rules; creating the identity elements themselves is discussed separately where needed.

Can we order guidelines without a logo?

Rules need a visual foundation. If the logo and identity do not exist yet, we first discuss their development. We can agree connected stages: create the identity, then prepare a guide to using it.

What are the price and timeline?

The current price is ₽5,000–7,000 and the listed timeline is 3 business days. We clarify material readiness, sections and examples before starting. Additional tasks, new identity elements and scope changes are agreed before that work begins.

How many pages will the document contain?

The current offer does not specify a fixed page count. Length follows the agreed structure, depth of explanation and required illustrations. We discuss content first so the document supports the team’s tasks rather than filling an arbitrary number of pages.

What materials do you need?

Logo source files, colours, typefaces, graphic elements, existing rules and application examples. Identify the digital and physical media needed and who will use the document. Missing materials are discussed before work begins.

Which format will we receive?

The current scope includes the final PDF. Additional formats and an editable source file are not included automatically: we discuss them beforehand alongside future document maintenance requirements.

Are printing and every production layout included?

The guide includes rules and agreed application examples, including physical media. A complete production layout set and manufacturing are separate tasks. Finished materials and any required expenses are agreed in advance.

Can you update existing guidelines?

Share the document and explain which sections or elements have changed. We assess the materials and update scope. If the identity itself needs redesign, we separately establish the sequence of work on the elements and document.
