LOGO REFINEMENT

We refine existing logos when the core idea works but the execution needs attention. We adjust shape, proportions, composition, typography and legibility, correcting colour where needed. We prepare a clean vector version and final files. We work remotely with clients in Russia and internationally.

WHEN TO REFINE A LOGO

A logo may only need focused improvements. We review the mark and its uses, identify details that prevent clean reproduction and agree changes that preserve the core visual concept.

  • The idea works, the details do not

Proportions, lines or spacing feel inconsistent, or the mark and lettering do not sit well together. We review form and composition so improvements develop the existing solution.

  • The logo is hard to read

Lettering disappears at small sizes, neighbouring elements merge or fine details distract. We consider actual media and discuss changes for the required sizes.

  • A clean vector version is needed

The current file has uneven contours or technical issues. We assess the materials and prepare the agreed result for further use. If only a small image remains, restoration feasibility is reviewed first.

Refinement preserves the logo’s core idea. Redesign can reconsider its image and visual concept; development starts a mark from scratch. A finished sketch can also be assessed, but turning an idea into a digital mark is a separate service.

WHAT REFINEMENT INCLUDES

The work follows the existing mark’s condition: analysis, shape and proportion adjustments, composition, typography, colour where needed, legibility, a clean vector version and final files. Specific corrections and formats are agreed before starting.

  • Existing logo analysis

We review the source file, composition and usage examples, discussing what should remain and which details need attention, then establish the scope.

  • Shape, proportions and composition

We adjust geometry, element relationships, contours and spacing, working on how the mark and lettering combine. The existing idea remains the starting point.

  • Typography

We review lettering, spacing and its relationship with the mark. Agreed changes respect the logo’s character. If a different typeface is needed, we discuss its use and licensing beforehand.

  • Colour and legibility

We adjust colour where necessary and review the logo at required sizes, discussing which details to retain, simplify or clarify for the agreed uses.

  • Clean vector version

We prepare the agreed geometry in vector form. Work from a raster image and restoration scope are assessed after reviewing the materials; complex reconstruction needs a separate agreement.

  • Final files

We review the approved result and prepare required formats and versions. Digital and print requirements are specified in advance. New application layouts and brand guidelines are scoped separately.

FORM AND TYPE IN THE PORTFOLIO

Mateo and Scape Viz illustrate mark construction, composition and its relationship with lettering. They are portfolio examples, not verified refinement projects or before-and-after comparisons. Your correction list follows your existing material.

HOW WE REFINE YOUR LOGO

We begin by reviewing the existing solution. After agreeing the correction list, we refine details, check the result at the required size and deliver approved files.

  1. Materials and brief

You share the logo, usage examples and preferences. We discuss the issue, source files, required formats, price and timing.

  2. Correction list

We establish changes to form, composition, typography or colour, agreeing a focused scope that preserves the core concept.

  3. Detail refinement

We apply agreed changes and prepare clean vector artwork. Any task beyond the refinement scope is discussed before implementation.

  4. Review and approval

We present the result, review legibility at selected sizes and collect comments, refining within the agreed correction list.

  5. File handover

After approval, we check the package and deliver specified formats. Additional versions and new applications are assessed separately.

PRICING AND TIMING

₽3,000

Timeline — 1 business day

The current logo refinement price is ₽3,000, with a listed timeline of 1 business day. We review the materials and confirm the correction list, final formats and feedback process before starting.

The scope includes analysis, shape and proportions, composition, typography, colour where necessary, legibility at different sizes, a clean vector version and final files. This is work on an existing solution; new concepts and brand identity development are not automatically included.

Timing is confirmed after reviewing the source and brief. Complex reconstruction from an unclear image, a new visual concept, extra layouts and brand guidelines need a separate scope. Printing, manufacturing and any required paid typeface licences are separate expenses.

Payment is split into 50% before work begins and 50% after approval, before final files are handed over. At your request, we can sign a contract defining scope, price and timing. Discussions, approvals and handover take place remotely.

LOGO REFINEMENT QUESTIONS

How does refinement differ from redesign?

Refinement improves details of an existing solution while retaining its core idea. Redesign can reconsider the visual concept. If the brief needs a new image, we discuss a different scope rather than treating it as a small correction.

What are the price and timeline?

The current price is ₽3,000 and the listed timeline is 1 business day. We review the source, agree specific corrections and required formats first. Restoration complexity, additional tasks and scope changes are assessed separately.

Which materials should we share?

The best available logo file, preferably in vector format, usage examples and a description of the issue. Explain what should remain and where the mark will be used. Share size or print supplier requirements beforehand.

Can you refine a logo if only an image remains?

Share the highest-quality image available. We assess whether it is sufficient to reconstruct the mark and lettering. A clean vector version is part of the agreed work, but reconstruction feasibility and complexity must be reviewed first.

Can you adjust only the type or proportions?

Yes, if the brief stays focused. We can discuss lettering spacing, mark geometry or element relationships. The specific correction list and result requirements are agreed after reviewing the logo.

How many options and revisions are included?

This service refines an existing concept rather than producing a set of new ideas. The price list does not fix an iteration count: we agree the correction list and feedback process before starting. New tasks are assessed before implementation.

Which files will we receive?

The approved vector version and agreed final files. Digital and print formats, colour versions and usage requirements are established beforehand. Full brand guidelines and new application layouts are separate tasks.

Can refinement be done remotely?

Yes, we work with clients in Russia and internationally. Sharing materials, discussing corrections, approving the result and receiving files can all be done remotely. We agree the feedback process before starting.
